Delhi Newspapers Association of India Successfully Concludes 30th Annual Conference and Felicitation Ceremony

New Delhi, October 1, 2023 - The Delhi Newspapers Association of India recently concluded its 30th annual conference and felicitation ceremony, focusing on addressing the challenges faced by small and medium-sized newspapers in the country. The event brought together journalists from across India to discuss their concerns and celebrate the achievements of the association.

The event commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp and a prayer to Lord Ganesha, symbolizing the auspicious beginning of the gathering. Distinguished guests, including Union Minister of State for Defence, Ajay Bhatt, and Prof. Sanjay Dwivedi, Director General of the Indian Institute of Mass Communication, graced the occasion.

Union Minister Ajay Bhatt acknowledged the vital role of journalism as the mirror of society, emphasizing its significance in shaping public opinion and disseminating information. He commended the Newspaper Association of India for its consistent efforts in organizing such programs and recognizing outstanding individuals from various fields.

Dr. Vipin Gaur, the General Secretary of the association, received special recognition for his remarkable contributions to journalism. He was praised for his dedication to the welfare and respect of journalists, as well as his efforts to unite individuals from different states.

Prof. Sanjay Dwivedi, in his welcome address, highlighted the media's role in conveying the concerns of millions of people and shaping government policies. He praised the association for its 30 years of dedication to journalism and congratulated the award recipients.

The ceremony was coordinated by General Secretary Vipin Gaur and featured the honoring of individuals and organizations from diverse sectors across the country. Notable awards included the Best IPS Officer Award presented to Delhi Special Police Commissioner Sanjay Singh, Best News Channel awarded to "Bharat 24," and Best Regional Channel awarded to "Zee Uttar Pradesh-Uttarakhand." Other awardees included Best Editor Ramesh Chandra of Zee Group, Best TV Journalist Himanshu Shukla, and Best Digital Journalist Sapna Jha, among others.

The event was attended by key members of the organization, including President Dr. Gururaj Naganathan, Vice President Om Prakash Sharma, Executive Secretary Ananth Kumar, Executive Secretary Anil Nagpal, and Cultural Secretary Vivek Sharma.

The 30th felicitation ceremony of the Newspaper Association of India served as a momentous occasion to celebrate journalism's enduring impact and the individuals who contribute significantly to the field. It concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks by the former president of the institute, Suryabhan Rajput, leaving a lasting impression on all attendees.


9th Kalam Ke Sipahi - A cultural program and award ceremony concluded at Marwah Studios

Newspapers Association of India organized 9th “Kalam Ke Sipahi - A Cultural Extravaganza & Award Ceremony” with International Journalism Centre on Saturday under the patronage of Dr. Vipin Gaur General Secretary – NAI The event started with lighting of ceremonial lamp remarkable moments of “Kalam Ke Sipahi” The inaugural address was delivered by Dr Sandeep Marwah, President - International Journalism Centre, and welcome address was delivered by Dr. Vipin Gaur, General Secretary Newspapers Association of India.

The Chief Guest of the Event Shri Tirath Singh Rawat former Chief Minister of Uttrakhand & M.P Lok Sabha & Guests of Honour for the event were Sadguru Riteshwer Maharaj, Ashish Saraf Honorary Consul of Commonwealth of Bahamas In India, Dr Deepak Narval From London.

Sandeep Marwah said that media is the biggest medium for every section of the people in the country, every problem of theirs gets the benefit of government schemes only through the media, Sandeep Marwah said that if any incident happens anywhere in the world, then we got Information within minutes, just because of media, social media has done wonders, if someone wants to suppress the news, social media exposes it.

Dr Ajay Kumar, Executive Director, ASMS Noida stated that Media was the fourth pillar of democracy due to its crucial role in shaping public opinion. He added that media makes people aware of various social, political and economic activities happening around the world.

The chief guest of the program, Tirath Singh Rawat said in his address that the media is the mirror of the society; the media has done the work of making people aware of the Corona period. But sometimes the media distorts things and shows half the truth, which creates many problems, the media should always show the whole truth. I did not do journalism, but I have also studied journalism in my student life. Journalism is a big responsibility to create synergy between government and society. I am a victim of half-truths of media, but I do not complain to anyone because the truth is never hidden. Tirath Rawat said that I am happy that Vipin Gaur is continuously making good efforts for the benefit of journalists.

Dr. Vipin Gaur said that heartfelt salute to the soldiers of the pen, whoever raises a pen for the interest of the country, that person is a soldier of the pen, and this program was started in the memories of Late Dr. M. R. Gaur, Founder of Newspaper Association of India. All the guests appreciated the program and said that such programs give us new energy and get a chance to meet positive intellectuals. Sadguru Riteshwer Maharaj shared his life experiences with the audience and added that right talent if given proper guidance at proper time, would go a long way. He emphasized that if work was planned with a clear vision and executed properly could create miracles.

9वां कलाम के सिपाही - एक सांस्कृतिक कार्यक्रम और पुरस्कार समारोह मारवाह स्टूडियोज में संपन्न हुआ

न्यूजपेपर्स एसोसिएशन ऑफ इंडिया के महासचिव डॉ. विपिन गौड़ के संरक्षण में शनिवार को अंतर्राष्ट्रीय पत्रकारिता केंद्र के साथ 9वें "कलाम के सिपाही सम्मान समाहरोह का आयोजन किया गया । उद्घाटन सम्बोधन डॉ संदीप मारवाह, अध्यक्ष - अंतर्राष्ट्रीय पत्रकारिता केंद्र द्वारा दिया गया था, और स्वागत भाषण डॉ विपिन गौड़, महासचिव समाचार पत्र एसोसिएशन ऑफ इंडिया द्वारा दिया गया।

कार्यक्रम के मुख्य अतिथि उत्तराखंड के पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री व संसद लोकसभा श्री तीरथ सिंह रावत और इस कार्यक्रम के विशिष्ट अतिथि सद्गुरु रितेश्वर महाराज, व भारत में बहामास राष्ट्रमंडल के मानद कौंसुल आशीष सराफ व लंदन से डॉ दीपक नरवाल थे।

संदीप मारवाह ने कहा कि मीडिया देश के हर वर्ग के लोगों के लिए सबसे बड़ा माध्यम है, उनकी हर समस्या को सरकारी योजनाओं का लाभ मीडिया के माध्यम से ही मिलता है, संदीप मारवाह ने कहा कि अगर दुनिया में कहीं भी कोई घटना होती है, तो हमें कुछ ही मिनटों मिल जाती है सोशल मीडिया ने वाकई कमाल का काम किय है अगर कोई किसी खबर को छुपाना चाहे , तो सोशल मीडिया उसे उजागर करता है।

ए.एस.एम.एस नोएडा के कार्यकारी निदेशक डॉ अजय कुमार ने कहा कि जनमत को आकार देने में महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका के कारण मीडिया लोकतंत्र का चौथा स्तंभ है। उन्होंने कहा कि मीडिया दुनिया भर में हो रही विभिन्न सामाजिक, राजनीतिक और आर्थिक गतिविधियों से लोगों को अवगत कराता है।

कार्यक्रम के मुख्य अतिथि तीरथ सिंह रावत ने अपने संबोधन में कहा कि मीडिया समाज का आईना है। मीडिया ने लोगों को कोरोना काल के प्रति जागरूक करने का काम किया है। लेकिन कभी-कभी मीडिया चीजों को तोड़-मरोड़ कर पेश करता है और आधा सच दिखाता है, जिससे कई समस्याएं पैदा होती हैं, मीडिया को हमेशा पूरा सच दिखाना चाहिए। मैंने पत्रकारिता नहीं की, लेकिन मैंने अपने छात्र जीवन में पत्रकारिता की पढ़ाई भी की है। सरकार और समाज के बीच तालमेल बिठाने के लिए पत्रकारिता एक बड़ी जिम्मेदारी है। मैं मीडिया के आधे सच का शिकार हूं, लेकिन मैं किसी से शिकायत नहीं करता क्योंकि सच कभी छुपा नहीं होता। तीरथ रावत ने कहा कि मुझे खुशी है कि विपिन गौर लगातार पत्रकारों के हित के लिए अच्छे प्रयास कर रहे हैं।

डॉ. विपिन गौड़ ने कहा कि कलम के सिपाहियों को दिल से सलाम, जो कोई भी देश हित के लिए कलम उठाता है, वह कलम का सिपाही होता है, और यह कार्यक्रम स्वर्गीय डॉ. एम.आर. गौड़ की स्मृति में शुरू किया गया था जो की न्यूजपेपर एसोसिएशन ऑफ इंडिया के संस्थापक थे । सभी अतिथियों ने कार्यक्रम की सराहना करते हुए कहा कि इस तरह के कार्यक्रमों से हमें नई ऊर्जा मिलती है और सकारात्मक बुद्धिजीवियों से मिलने का मौका मिलता है। सद्गुरु रितेश्वर महाराज ने अपने जीवन के अनुभवों को दर्शकों के साथ साझा किया और कहा कि अगर सही समय पर उचित मार्गदर्शन दिया जाए तो सही प्रतिभा बहुत आगे बढ़ सकती है। उन्होंने इस बात पर जोर दिया कि यदि कार्य को स्पष्ट दृष्टि से नियोजित किया जाए और ठीक से क्रियान्वित किया जाए तो चमत्कार पैदा हो सकता है।

न्यूज़पेपर्स एसोसिएशन ऑफ इंडिया का 28वां राष्ट्रीय अधिवेशन एवं सम्मान समारोह 23 जनवरी को चंडीगढ़ में
सेक्टर 16 स्थित पंजाब कला भवन में आयोजित किया गया । जिसकी अध्यक्षता व संचालन राष्ट्रीय महासचिव डाॅ. विपिन गौड़ ने की । कार्यक्रम के मुख्य अतिथि के रूप में केन्द्रीय सूचना एवं प्रसारण मंत्री प्रकाश जावडेकर वर्चुअली, तो वहीं आईजी लॉ एंड ऑर्डर पंजाब अजय कुमार पांडे ,आईजी सीआरपीएफ ए विजय कुमार व निर्मोही अखाडा के राष्ट्रीय प्रवक्ता संत सीताराम दास कार्यक्रम में मौजूद रहे ।

न्यूज़पेपर्स एसोसिएशन ऑफ इंडिया ने कोरोना काल में भारत के कोरोनावीर योद्धाओं समेत देश के विभिन्न पत्रकारों व समाजसेविओं को आमंत्रित कर सम्मानित किया जिनका सहयोग भारत को आत्मनिर्भर, स्वस्थ, विकासशील और प्रगतिशील बनाने मे रहा है और मानसिक विकास के कार्यों मे अपना सहयोग दिया। हर साल की तरह इस साल भी "एनएआई" ने अपने सम्मान को एक समाज के प्रथ
ति समर्पित किया और इस बार वो समाज रहा- कोरोना वीर ।

इस बार कोरोना काल में विभिन्न क्षेत्रों में अपनी सेवा प्रदान करने वाले कोरोना वॉरियर्स को सम्मानित किया गया, जिन्होंने अपने प्राणों की आहुति लगा दी परंतु देश को झुकने नहीं दिया , इनमें प्रमुखतः चुनिंदा सरकारी विभागों के कर्मचारियों समेत स्वास्थ्य कर्मचारी, पुलिस विभाग, मीडिया बंधु शामिल रहे । इन्होंने अपने कर्तव्य और देश को खुद से और अपने परिवार से ऊपर रखा जोकि सराहनीय ही नहीं सलाम करने योग्य कार्य रहा ।

कार्यक्रम में वर्चुअली जुडे केन्द्रीय सूचना एवं प्रसारण मंत्री प्रकाश जावडेकर ने अधिवेशन को संबोधित करते हुए न्यूज़पेपर्स एसोसिएशन ऑफ इंडिया की भूरी भूरी प्रशंसा की और कहा कि ऐसे आयोजनों से वास्तव में समाज को एक सार्थक दिशा प्रदान होती है । अपने वक्तव्य में उन्होंने आगे कहा कि कोर्णाक के दौर में किसी ने गलत अफवाह फैलाई की न्यूज़ पेपर को हाथ में लगाने से गुणा फैलता है जो की पूरी तरह से गलत है इन अफवाहों को मैं चाहता हूं कि मीडिया अपने माध्यम से दूर करें, कोरोनाकाल में अखबारों की सर्कुलेशन और इसका गलत असर पड़ा हालांकि अब हालात बदल चुके हैं लोगों को समझ में आ गया है कि न्यूज़पेपर को पढ़ने या हाथ लगाने से कोरोना नहीं फैलता ,उन्होंने कहा कि उनका भी यही मानना है और मेडिकल साइंस भी यही बात कहता है । केन्द्रीय मंत्री ने कहा कि- मीडिया कर्मियों को कहीं किसी भी तरह की समस्या हो तो सरकार उसके समाधान के लिए हर वक्त तैयार है ।

Newspapers Association of India organized 8th “Kalam Ke Sipahi - A Cultural Extravaganza & Award Ceremony” with IMS Ghaziabad on Friday under the patronage of Dr. Vipin Gaur General Secretary – NAI The event started with lighting of ceremonial lamp and invocation of Goddess Saraswati followed by a Performance which displayed the remarkable moments of “Kalam Ke Sipahi” The inaugural address was delivered by Dr Ajay Kumar, Director, IMS Ghaziabad and welcome address was delivered by Dr. Vipin Gaur, General Secretary Newspapers Association of India.

Dr Ajay Kumar, Director, IMS Ghaziabad stated that Media was the fourth pillar of democracy due to its crucial role in shaping public opinion. He added that media makes people aware of various social, political and economic activities happening around the world.

The chief guest of the program, Tirath Singh Rawat said in his address that the media is the mirror of the society; the media has done the work of making people aware of the Corona period. -लघु और मझौले समाचार पत्रों की समस्याओं को लेकर वार्षिक सम्मलेन व सम्मान समारोह

दिल्ली न्यूज़पेपर्स एसोसिएशन ऑफ इंडिया ने छोटे व मझोले समाचार पत्रों की समस्याओं का निराकरण करने के लिए राष्ट्रिय आधिवेशन किया । अधिवेशन मे देश भर के कई पत्रकारों ने हिस्सा लिया व अपनी अपनी समस्याओं को मंच पर रखा अधिवेशन के बाद कार्यक्रम मे सम्मान समाहरोह की शुरुवात हुई | कार्यक्रम मे मुख्य आतिथि भारत मे उज्बेकिस्तान के राजदूत फर्होद अर्ज़ेव व सम्मानित अतिथि मारवाह स्टूडियो के अध्यक्ष श्री संदीप मारवाह व उत्तराखंड के पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री श्री हरीश रावत रहे विशिष्ट अतिथि डे आफ्टर के संपादक सुनील दांग व आई टीवी के मुख्या संपादक अजय शुक्ला रहे कार्यक्रम देश के शहीदों अनाथ आश्रम व वृद आश्रम को समर्पित किया गया |

इस कार्यक्रम की शुरुआत समारोहपूर्वक दीप प्रज्ज्वलित करने और देवी सरस्वती के आह्वान के साथ हुई। स्वागत भाषण प्रो (डॉ) अजय कुमार, निदेशक, GLBIMR और श्री विपिन गौर, न्यूजपेपर एसोसिएशन ऑफ़ इंडिया के महासचिव, द्वारा दिया गया।

न्यूज़पेपर्स एसोसिएशन ऑफ इंडिया का 28वां राष्ट्रीय अधिवेशन एवं सम्मान समारोह 23 जनवरी को चंडीगढ़ में सेक्टर 16 स्थित पंजाब कला भवन में आयोजित किया गया । जिसकी अध्यक्षता व संचालन राष्ट्रीय महासचिव डाॅ. विपिन गौड़ ने की । कार्यक्रम के मुख्य अतिथि के रूप में केन्द्रीय सूचना एवं प्रसारण मंत्री प्रकाश जावडेकर वर्चुअली, तो वहीं आईजी लॉ एंड ऑर्डर पंजाब अजय कुमार पांडे ,आईजी सीआरपीएफ ए विजय कुमार व निर्मोही अखाडा के राष्ट्रीय प्रवक्ता संत सीताराम दास कार्यक्रम में मौजूद रहे ।

न्यूज़पेपर्स एसोसिएशन ऑफ इंडिया ने कोरोना काल में भारत के कोरोनावीर योद्धाओं समेत देश के विभिन्न पत्रकारों व समाजसेविओं को आमंत्रित कर सम्मानित किया जिनका सहयोग भारत को आत्मनिर्भर, स्वस्थ, विकासशील और प्रगतिशील बनाने मे रहा है और मानसिक विकास के कार्यों मे अपना सहयोग दिया। हर साल की तरह इस साल भी "एनएआई" ने अपने सम्मान को एक समाज के प्रथति समर्पित किया और इस बार वो समाज रहा- कोरोना वीर ।

इस बार कोरोना काल में विभिन्न क्षेत्रों में अपनी सेवा प्रदान करने वाले कोरोना वॉरियर्स को सम्मानित किया गया, जिन्होंने अपने प्राणों की आहुति लगा दी परंतु देश को झुकने नहीं दिया , इनमें प्रमुखतः चुनिंदा सरकारी विभागों के कर्मचारियों समेत स्वास्थ्य कर्मचारी, पुलिस विभाग, मीडिया बंधु शामिल रहे । इन्होंने अपने कर्तव्य और देश को खुद से और अपने परिवार से ऊपर रखा जोकि सराहनीय ही नहीं सलाम करने योग्य कार्य रहा ।

कार्यक्रम में वर्चुअली जुडे केन्द्रीय सूचना एवं प्रसारण मंत्री प्रकाश जावडेकर ने अधिवेशन को संबोधित करते हुए न्यूज़पेपर्स एसोसिएशन ऑफ इंडिया की भूरी भूरी प्रशंसा की और कहा कि ऐसे आयोजनों से वास्तव में समाज को एक सार्थक दिशा प्रदान होती है । अपने वक्तव्य में उन्होंने आगे कहा कि कोर्णाक के दौर में किसी ने गलत अफवाह फैलाई की न्यूज़ पेपर को हाथ में लगाने से गुणा फैलता है जो की पूरी तरह से गलत है इन अफवाहों को मैं चाहता हूं कि मीडिया अपने माध्यम से दूर करें, कोरोनाकाल में अखबारों की सर्कुलेशन और इसका गलत असर पड़ा हालांकि अब हालात बदल चुके हैं लोगों को समझ में आ गया है कि न्यूज़पेपर को पढ़ने या हाथ लगाने से कोरोना नहीं फैलता ,उन्होंने कहा कि उनका भी यही मानना है और मेडिकल साइंस भी यही बात कहता है । केन्द्रीय मंत्री ने कहा कि- मीडिया कर्मियों को कहीं किसी भी तरह की समस्या हो तो सरकार उसके समाधान के लिए हर वक्त तैयार है ।

NAI Convener with other dignitaries were present and have awarded the awardees and congratulated them for their best work in their respective field they have done and to make this award function a great success many have given their best efforts and many have even come from Bengaluru,Gujarat, Bijapur, Assam and many more places. Newspapers Association of India (NAI) which represents the press at the grass roots level in almost all languages and territories of the country, and which constitutes the core of the press community in this country since its inception in 1993, has endeavored to bring the Small and Medium newspapers and media organization from the length and breadth of our great country together under the ambit of one platform. Until now we were successful in bringing together approximately 10000 such entities as active members under our umbrella. These newspapers are published in Hindi, English and other vernacular languages. Together they enjoy a reach to every nook and corner of the country. Our association actively takes up matters relating to the difficulties being faced by the publishers of these newspapers and also disseminates information useful to them from time to time.

The Conference would be focusing on the role that the regional newspapers play in the strengthening of this World’s largest democracy. The emphasis would be on how the regional newspapers strengthen our democratic institutions with adherence to secular credentials. The strength of our democracy lies in the dissemination of information and these regional and vernacular language newspapers with their reach deep in the hinterland can and plays an effective role in the propagation of democratic ideas and advantages of people power.

Vipin Gaur was designated as the Executive Secretary of Indo Uzbekistan Film And Cultural Forum in a grand reception thrown in his honor by H E Vinod Kumar, India Ambassador to Uzbekistan.. Vipin Gaur was also honored at Hotel Ramada for Indian Culture at Tashkent and at Ministry of Cinema and Culture by Furkat Zakirov, Minister of Art & Culture, Uzbekistan.

ITS Mohan Nagar Ghaziabad and Newspaper Association of India organized Extravaganza and Award Ceremony "Kalam Ke Sipahi-2018" celebration in association between News Paper Association of India (NAI) and ITS Mohan Nagar on 26th annual celebration day of NAI.

The Celebration was inaugurated with Lamp lighting ceremony and offering to Goddess of learning Maa Saraswati, accompanied by Sh. Arpit Chadha, Vice Chairman, ITS Mohan Nagar, President of the ceremony Mr. Kim Kom Pyoung , Chief Guest Sh. Second State level Journalists Workshop and Award Ceremony by NAI In Bengaluru

NAI Dedicates the Award Function to the Retired Soldiers in Bengaluru.

The prestigious award function which was dedicated to retired army men as soldiers was a very unique event which was held on 17th June 2017 at Rajajinagar Bengaluru and it was organised by Karnataka State Committees New President Sudarshan S and all its members, the event was innaugrated with lighting the lamp and Blessing by, Sri Sri Sri Dr.Siddhalinga Shivacharya Swamiji, Shashtra Pitha Harihar,Shri Suresh Kumar, MLA (Ex Law Minister).Shri Suryabhan Singh Rajput, Shri Vipin Gaur,Dr gururaj Nagathan,Shri Suryanarayan,Sudarshan,and NAI Special Guest Monojit Singha with other Dignataries were present at the event.

The wonderful event was for one of the handful of platforms to reward Real Heroes as Retired Soldiers,with excellence in journalism in the state.Instituted by a professional body, it is aimed at raising the bar for news and feature writing. It also encourages fair play and roots for high ethical standards in media.

The awards function, which took place in the evening on a very Auspicious day at Ram Mandir in Rajajinagar was attended by a number of eminent personalities from the media and other walks of life.Suresh Kumar MLA of Rajajinagar was the chief guest.

Awards were given in different categories including business, environment, human rights, photography, science and innovation, entertainment.

Addressing the workshop, Suresh Kumar firstly congratulated all the Awardees and he said that nowadays media is facing many challenges and under tremendous pressures due to unhealthy competition, he said the news dissemination in various media is faster than social media now,due to this unhealthy competition between media is proving news is harming people rather than helping them.Journos should follow professionalism of mahatma Gandhi, balagangadhar Tilak and d v gundappa he added.

Senior journalist ravindra Reshmi said that apart from UK unhealthy competition journo are facing insecurity, uncertainity and instability.But journos should ensure and follow ethics.The journos should try to work hard despite all odds, they should not work for government merely because the govt provides them some facility. It's the duty of the government to provide facility and the duty of the journos is to highlights the flaws and correct the govt in case If they do wrong he added.

NAI Karnataka State Submits Memorandum To Government to Amend Journalist Protection Act.

Newspapers Association of India (NAI) team led by Genreal Secretary of NAI, Vipin gaur along with Suryabhan Singh Rajput NAI President,Dr.Gururaj Nagathan Convener, Sudarshan S, Karnataka State President with other members of NAI submitted a memorandum to Rajajinagar, MLA Suresh Kumar, at the workshop regarding demands for journalists protection act in Karnataka State,with other demands for the welfare of journalist fraternity in Karnataka State includes,Allotment of Housing facility and land to homeless journalist on seniority basis,Ensuring security of media houses and journalist in Karnataka State,Implementation of Wages Board in Karnataka, 100% increment of government advertisement rates for media houses in Karnataka and to give once in 3 months government advertisements to weekly and fortnightly and monthly papers too,Provide journalist pension,Medical Insurance and Health Insurance facility in Karnataka, Provide concession on train ticket and state transport bus ticket for journalists in Karnataka,Provision of Monthly Government stipend to journalists in karnataka and Constitute state level media council in Karnataka State etc.

National Workshop on Photo Journalism successfully held in Marwah Studio

Delhi/NCR: The National Workshop on Photo Journalism successfully by ICMEI (International Chamber Of Media & Entertainment Industry, NAI (Newspaper Association Of India) and IJC (International Journalism Centre) held in Marwah Studio, Film City, Noida. In the first session Senior Photographer Sh. Rajendera Wadhwa, Sh.Rajesh Badal-Senior Journalist from Rajya Sabha TV, Sh. R.K.Singh-Senior Journalist, Senior Journalist Sh.C.N.Kanan, Sh. Arun Anand, Sh. Vijay Kapoor, Sh.Sushil Bharti-Station Director Radio Noida, Sh.Vipin Gaur-Young Journalist & General Secretary of NAI (Newspaper Association Of India) shared their experiences, technique & useful tips about photography. More than hundred Photographers & Photo-Journalists from 12 states, school & college students attended the said workshop.The talk of Sh.Rajesh Badal & Sh.R.K. Singh particularly on technologically changes were very effective. They both compared the merits & demerits of digitations in the field of Photography.

The second session started with the lighting of lamp & garlanding the Lord Ganpati. In the second session, Media Guru Sh. Sandeep Marwah-President ICMEI & IJC welcomed Well known Senior Photographer Sh.O.P.Sharma as the Chief Guest & Famous Fashion photographer Sh. Shyam. Thereafter, Sh. Marwah ji highlighted the significance of Photo Journalism & achievements of Marwah studio in the field of Media. Sh. O.P. Sharma also memorized Oscar Barnic (Germany) and his great contribution in Photography. Oscar Barnic invented the Camera & that’s why he is called the father Photography claimed O.P.Sharma in his speech. Sharma ji even disclosed one more important thing about photography that World Photography Day has been celebrated on 19th August since 1991. Mr. Vipin Gaur-General Secretary NAI also spoke the contribution of the association towards media & media person welfare. Mr.Gaur also claimed that NAI initiated celebrating 10 March as Tribute to Journalist Day since 2011 & two NAI member journalists even donated their body in Jaipur in 2012 are few examples of contribution of NAI in media fraternity. The National Achievement Award ceremony started with the Life Time Achievement award presented to Sh.O.P.Sharma by Media Guru Sh.Sandeep Marwah. Even Sh.Shyam & Sh.Rajendra Wadhva were also felicitated with the prestigious National Achievement Award around one hundred Photo-Journalists & photographers from 12 states, Delhi & NCR felicitated during this grand Award Ceremony. The 23rd Annual Conference and National Achievement Award 2015 of the Newspapers Association of India (NAI) - 2015

Newspapers Association of India (NAI) which represents the press at the grass roots level in almost all languages and territories of the country, and which constitutes the core of the press community in this country since its inception in 1993, has endeavoured to bring the Small and Medium newspapers and media organization from the length and breadth of our great country together under the ambit of one platform. Until now we were successful in bringing together approximately 8000 such entities as active members under our umbrella. These newspapers are published in Hindi, English and other vernacular languages. Together they enjoy a reach to every nook and corner of the country. Our association actively takes up matters relating to the difficulties being faced by the publishers of these newspapers and also disseminates information useful to them from time to time.

The Conference would be focusing on the role that the regional newspapers play in the strengthening of this World’s largest democracy. The emphasis would be on how the regional newspapers strengthen our democratic institutions with adherence to secular credentials. The strength of our democracy lies in the dissemination of information and these regional and vernacular language newspapers with their reach deep in the hinterland can and plays an effective role in the propagation of democratic ideas and advantages of people power.

International Participation at 3rd Global Festival of Journalism Noida 2015

Noida-12th Feb, 2015:Delegates from more than 30 countries of the World and from all the states of India brought 3rd Global Festival of Journalism to the most exclusive and one of its kind journalism festival in the World with the formal inauguration on the International Day of Journalism.

"I am amazed by the innovative idea of Sandeep Marwah who has brought the world journalism to think about peace," said H.E. Dr. Lobsang Sangay Prime Minister of Tibet while inaugurating the 3rd Global Festival of Journalism at Noida Film City. "It is the requirement of the day, no country can prosper unless and until the people of the nation are at ease. We all have to think in the common language of spirituality," added Prime Minister of Tibet.

"Teachings of Mahatma Gandhi are still valid in this ICE age. Believe in him and things will move towards betterment" said Dr. Bisham Narayan Singh former Union Minister and Governor of Tamil Nadu.

Festival started with tribute to the renowned cartoonist R.K.Laxman by releasing a book of his brother Ramachandran containing his cartoon and published by Research Centre of Asian Academy of Film And Television.

"Good journalism and positive thinking of media persons can change the thinking of the whole World" said Sandeep Marwah President Marwah Studios and International Journalism Centre while conducting the program.

Dr Rishi Raj Singh Director NIESBUD, Ministry of Micro,Small & Medium Enterprises, Government of India, Veteran Journalist Vikas Mohan, Secretary General ICMEI Ashok Tyagi Director ASMS Dr.A.K. Srivastava also spoke on the occasion.

Later Sandeep Marwah honored H.E. Dr. Lobsang SAngay with the life membership of International Journalism Centre. A poster on Global Peace was also released on the occasion.

The Award event was well organised as the Editor and CEO founder of NBC Vaidehi Sachin who has seven different publications too and said that my NBC group and all the Jury members like Rohini Salian who has helped me a lot in my past days and who is still with me as she is a lady who motivated me to start my own publication when I approached her she said why not you start will help you so with this I started my new journey, and said even all jury members like Sandip Sorpakar, Ramesh Bhatkar, Vishwajeet Gaikwad who is the company director of our NBC group , Monica Jacob, Vipin Gaur, Aditi Taman, and whole team of NBC has supported to me a lot , and the whole team members are like my family who are working with me from starting the day one and are very happy in the work we do ,And all this credit goes to for the effort and efficiency work by Vaidehi Sachin has done as being a women which motivates and encourages the society of other women's to come forward said by many awardees as this is all done for the women's welfare , and whole team was Welcoming all the guest with the tutaree, like the sound which comes in Mahabharat when a raja comes like this it was honoured to all the guests and awardees as soon as any Awardees or Guests enters inside, and the hall arrangement was set up in a glamorous way all the provisions was made for all the invitees and guests to ensure that they are comfortable and can enjoy the night, the awardees were escorted by the NBC team From where they have alighted from the Cars /Cabs As many in this event as winner or awardees were first time achiever of this wonderful Award, the type of categories were , like Life time Achievement awards , as called special jury award, Tutlage sector as best education, NGO, Artistry sector, best Spritual leader.

The lifetime Achievement awards to the awardees has thought like Retirement , as many awardees and winners were very happy to achieve this award, Newsmakers Achievers awards function was held on 1st may 2014 at Trident hotel in Mumbai ,and the awardees were from different categories from the field of Bollywood, government sectors , film industries, public sector and private sector ,child artist ,and even from the media and education field too to encourage and motivate and all the awardees were from many different parts of cities like New Delhi ,Mumbai , Gujarat , Rajasthan , Bangalore and many more other cities have come and were felicitated for there hard work and determination various personalities from all the walks of life be it in media as academic and social sector were honoured and the award was honoured to them by great personalities , The show was hosted by Actor Umeshpherwani, who has kept the audience very entertain to enjoy the evening ,The life achievement award was given to Prominent Ad Film maker Shri Alyquepadmasee was honoured for his contribution which he has given to the advertising industry, and he felt very happy to achieve this award as it is said that this award as life time achievement was given for the memory or motivation to like public ,as many forgets the old Personalities by atleast seeing their active in this age also they will remember them by achieving this type of awards ,Ram jethmalani who is well known as senior lawyer and politician was too felicitated with life time achievement ,the noted journalist and media baron as Baliram Gaikwad was honoured for his Excellence field of journalism, The best IAS M Laxmi narayan who is present BBMP commissioner of Bangalore was also been honoured as prominent IAS officer and by receiving this award he said that he is very happy to receive this award and said that his support his her wife who gives him all supports , The best prominent IPS officer Sri Raghavendra Auradkar the Bangalore city police commissioner receives the award and says that a prominent IPS been choosen by media people is by the efficiency and prominent work done by us for the welfare of public ,and this award and credit is for my whole police team as low rank officer as constable ,HC,ASI ,psi &pi the constable who stands on the road in the hot and rainy and work for the safety of public in dust and makes peoples to leave happy I thank them , and said that even there family will has supported him at every time, Ramjethmalani who is a former BJP members and senior advocate said that "If a politicians drown in the river then it is called pollution but if all politician drowns in the river then it is called solution "and accepted the best lawyer award on behalf of his son Mahesh Jethmalini, life time achievement award to Best choreographer saroj khan who is one of the most successful choreographer in Bollywood was honoured and she said "If a person is honoured with lifetime achievement award then people except him to retire from his profession. However I am not going to retire anytime soon and will continue the work "but the Editor Vaidehi Sachin has told that the life time achievement award is not for retirement from the work but it is for the public to remember the great personalities so we give as life time achievement award to the Achievers, Shri Ramdas Athawle received the prominent Dalit leader award, He said people have bad opinion about politicians. However there are many politicians who are doing good job and working for the welfare of people and he added I am very thankful to VaidehiJi for honouring to a political leader like me and I will continue the same in more efficient to the work for the welfare of community and unity of nation to improve the society as many doesn't choose a Dalit leader but the NBC has choosen and has motivated to others ,Actress mrinal Kumari has been honoured by Best Marathi actress and she said I thank four men in my life which includes my father, father-in-law, husband and her son, Ajit Hatti Co-Founder of null-open security received the best cyber security Analyst award, he said people are yet to know about the risk involving in the online transaction as using net banking and ATM Services and he has been pointed for this because we will not be knowing in the net banking or the online transaction to whom we are doing and to whose account it is receiving so he is the person who has helped many by alerting them by the loopholes in the system of banks who provide net banking services to customers and asked them rectify it before making a transaction, the unique award which made others to understand that the transgender community is also a human being like others as the Supreme Court has given them all rights like a common and the awardee Laxmi Narayan Tripathi she is a padmabhushan awardee to who has been to many different countries and well educated too and She added that the members of some NBC are her sons who are the first to make them to get all rights from the Supreme Court as every person is human being and even we should be respected for the same and who is the best socio worker working for the welfare of transgenders community , The Indians best comedian suresh Menon received the best best comedian award "he said I am pleased to receive this award on the occasion of Maharashtra day since I am receiving the award for a Marathi film hence it becomes even more special for me and lucky to receive the award as best comedians who entertains all the public. Premshukla was honoured with best Hindi Editor and journalist , Vikas Shrivastav was honoured with the best TV journalist award, swami tejomayananda receive the Best Spritual leader , in the education field award goes to as the Educationist was honoured to Ms. Balvinder shukla, Best institute was honoured to Sri Sandeep Marwah who is a great personality and whose done many short films around 2000 short films and he is the Co founder of noida film city and radio as (Asian Academy of film and telivisions) . Best writer award was honoured to Vicky Ratnani, ( Vicky goes veg) and said that every non vegetarian should become veg and writes book too. Best actor was awarded as best Marathi actor to Shri Jitendra Joshi, Best Tv personality was honoured to Ruslaan Mumtaz , Sangeetha Ghosh was too was honoured as best TV personality who has worked for the many serials and films too and was known as Pammi in the serial Desh Mein nikhlahoga Chaand,Best child Artist was honoured to cute baby who hails in a TV serial in star plus as saathiya Saath Nibhana Fame ,as (Meera) and her Real name is Riti Bafna who was honoured by Harshitha Ojha who is also child Artist in the Star plus Serial as Veera , it was great to see the child artist were honoured as many don't consider them but NBC has considered them because they are the future Hero'S by this child gets motivated and encouraged too another child Artist like master Faizal khan who is selected as best child artist for the role of (Maharanapratap frame ) in Mahabharat , serial who has achieved the first award in his life, and he said that he was very lucky to receive this award on the day of his serial Episode of 200 completion he was very happy to achieve this award as it was his first award and thanked his mom and dad for supporting him, like many were first time achiever of this wonderful award, as Ms Bhoomitrivedi was selected for best singer as she was too very happy to achieve this award and she even entertained all the audience by singing a song too at the event by her beautiful voice and has made happy to all audience at the event , and in this it was very intersting that the NBC group has awarded many celebrities and big personalities as Best NGO :Maulisevaprathisthan this is an NGO which helps a lady who is very distressed in her life by her parents and husband and when they don't have any shelters this NGO take care of them by giving a house to them, to leave and they were happy and said that all the credit goes to a lady in this who is even a doctor as sociology and teacher too , Best Fashion Designer award was honoured to Ms Archana Kochar who designs the cloths of all artist and others with well mannered . Best Astrologer Award was honoured to Nirmala Sewani , who is a best astrologer , Best English News channel was awarded to News X 24/7,and he said the credit goes to the reporters who work on field in any aspects and collects news and shoes to public of the society , Best News Editor was honoured to Shri Rana Yash want of India News ,24/7,and even he said it is great to get honoured by media industry for the work we do for the welfare of public as every news is shown on media like good and bad aspects to the society, and has told the award goes to whole India News team, Best Photo Journalist was honoured to Ms Mrudula Varaskar , Vaidehi Sachin the group editor of NBC as Newsmakers Broadcasting and Communications pvt ltd said" we are the only media firm in Asia to keep parallel media alive .Today media has been controlled by corporate houses, Businessmen etc. But Newsmakers Broadcasting has been succeeded to break this practice and has managed to sustain itself in this cut throat competitive world".

The 21th Annual Conference and National Achievement Award of the Newspapers Association of India (NAI) - 30th October 2013

Newspapers Association of India (NAI) which represents the press at the grassroots level in almost all languages and territories of the country, and which constitutes the core of the press community in this country since its inception in 1993, has endeavored to bring the Small and Medium newspapers and media organization from the length and breadth of our great country together under the ambit of one platform . Until now we were successful in bringing together approximately 7500 such entities as active members under our umbrella. These newspapers are published in Hindi, English and other vernacular languages. Together they enjoy a reach to every nook and corner of the country. Our association actively takes up matters relating to the difficulties being faced by the publishers of these newspapers and also disseminates information useful to them from time to time.

The Conference would be focusing on the role that the regional newspapers play in the strengthening of this World’s largest democracy. The emphasis would be on how the regional newspapers strengthen our democratic institutions with adherence to secular credentials. The strength of our democracy lies in the dissemination of information and these regional and vernacular language newspapers with their reach deep in the hinterland can and plays an effective role in the propagation of democratic ideas and advantages of people power.

The judges shall not be bound to award a prize in any categories where they do not feel that the quality of entries merits it. The awardees are selected through an extensive selection process. Jury members will independently inspect each entry and rate them based on their respective.

NAI Awards shall not be liable to give any explanation to anyone for disqualification of entries.

NAI Tribute Ceremony to our founder Late Dr. M.R. Gaur at Gandhi Peace Foundation

"The new media has taken over all the other four mediums of media, whether it is print, Radio, Television or cinema. All of them have become part of new media" said Sandeep Marwah addressing to the large media persons and audience from different colleges in a seminar organized by Newspapers Association Of India at Gandhi Peace Foundation Delhi.

‘The use of internet and mobile has become our habit and now nature. This is the first time that people of all age taking best advantage of new media’ added Marwah giving many case studies and instances as supporting examples to his talk.

On the occasion a veteran journalist Sunil Dang also spoke on the topic. The seminar was followed by media awards. Vipin Gaur secretary NAI paid tribute to his father who started this organization 19 years back.

The 18th Annual Conference and National Award of Newspapers Association of India

The 18th Annual Conference and National Achievement Award of the Newspapers Association of India (NAI) held At ISKCON Auditorium, ISKCON Temple, Hare Krishna Hill, East of Kailash New Delhi 110065 on 18th December 2010 6.00P.M.Onwards.

Not everybody pays their life for society. A person in any field whether an artist or a social worker should be appreciated, if he has contributed his time and efforts for the sake of society. We, Newspapers Association of India (NAI)comprehending the importance of such people in society who have never claimed for their name to be cherished for their contribution; not only salute their hard work to improve the society but also like to count them amongst deserving citizens for awards which will be honoured on 18th December 2010.

MOTIVE: Newspapers Association of India (NAI), has set new horizons of Grass Root Journalism is honouring unsung heroes of our society through the NAI Achievement Awards to the the people who have risen from the rank and file of the common man to act as the beckon light for the multitude of humanity to rise to a notch above the ordinary.

NOMINATION: This honour will be presented at a grand function which will be attended by delegates of many States, Celebrities, business dignitaries, politicians, et al. A star studded event that will be remembered cherished by every Indian. To be unbiased and transparent, the nomination procedure is kept open to the public. One can nominate their favourite heroes by sending us SMS or via email.

These heroes would be selected from different fields. Unlike other awards, which cater to only one sector, we have enveloped the entire range of activities that serve the human race from politics to healthcare, education, business and professionals, who make life easier for the common man.

ABOUT US: The objective of NAI is to highlight the problems which have been plaguing the small and medium newspaper industry for the past so many years. A common platform at the national level was created for the members, to establish personal Contact with each other and have interactions on related problems and take up the same, with concerned authorities, on a collective basis. With its members (Daily, Weekly’s, Bi Weekly’s Fortnightly’s, Monthly’s, Online Digests & others) the NAI is also serving the national cause of having unity in diversity, in as much as our membership. Is spread throughout the length and breadth of the country, with newspapers-both national and regional- printed in diverse vernacular as well as English language being our associates.

NAI aims to encourage and support small and medium newspapers, journals, periodicals, etc., to create innovative sustainable social enterprises and aims to build a just, civil society in India. We focuses on six key strategic priorities that collectively affect the newspaper industry: marketing, public policy, diversity, industry development, newspaper operations and readership. NAI aims to be a network that is inclusive and open, promotes free and independent media and participations in the network, provides a voice for its member publications and encourages the sharing of experience and knowledge between members.To focusing on the role that the regional newspapers play in the strengthening of our World’s largest democracy. The emphasis would be how the regional newspapers of our democratic institutions with adherence to secular credentials. The strength of our democracy lies in the dissemination of information and these regional and vernacular language newspapers with their reach deep in the hinterland can and plays an effective role in the propagation of democractive ideas and advantages of people power.

Annual Conference of Newspapers Association of India and Excellence Award-2009

The 17th Annual Conference of Newspapers Association of India and Excellence Award Ceremony-2009 was held on December 15 at Constitution Club, New Delhi.

Union Minister of State for Labour and Employment Sh. Harish Rawat was the chief guest of the function. He said that Newspapers Association of India (NAI) represents the press at the grass-root level and the association is doing such a tremendous contribution for upliftment of small newspapers in the country.

Mr Sunil Dang, Chairman-INLA, Mr Surybhan Rajput, President-NAI and Dr. Maheshwar Dutt, Reader-Zakir Hussain College was also present at this occasion.

There are three categories selected for award – People working in media and their contribution, Social Activists and people working in media education field and their contribution.

Articles , News , Videos , Photos , Social Activities , Agriculture or Rural Documenters must be published And Telecast works and may have appeared in a regional newspaper, magazine, news wire service or website between 1 January 2009 to 31October 2009. The judges shall not be bound to award a prize in any categories where they do not feel that the quality of entries merits it.
